Abstract:Some important financial problems of international transactions concerning equipment and projects are discussed. A micro-economic approach to financial risk analysis is presented. A macro-economic approach to risk analysis is also described and analyzed. The role of financial considerations in the successive phases of the international marketing process is investigated. An international comparison of export promotion practices is provided. The impact of traditional financing on marketing is examined. The influence of credit opportunities on the behaviour of buyers and suppliers is explored. The evolution of international "financial mix" is described. Different forms of selling are reviewed (barter, offset etc.).
