| Abstract: | A selected list of multifunction and erasable optical storage products is presented. Enterprising MIS managers are mixing and matching different types of optical storage to find the solution that works for them. Some practical examples and case stories are presented including Chevron Corp. An overall evaluation of various optical storage media is given. A note on the lack of standards for optical storage media is added. Some individual products used at Chevron are evaluated. |
