| Abstract: | Leading micro- and LAN-based accounting packages are analyzed. 9 accounting packages are rated, according to their overall ratings, performance, flexibility, ease of use, stability and vendor support. The results of this survey are evaluated. A simple do-it-yourself software rating system is proposed to facilitate accounting software selection. A small list of vendors providing accounting software products is presented. |
