| Abstract: | The paper deals with "engineer to order" manufacturing systems in projects designed to supply complex high-tech equipment. Such projects are characterized by repetitive and innovative processes aimed at developing products incorporating both standard and customized components. The paper describes a project management model that integrates the production-efficiency requirements related to repetitive activities and the innovation-effectiveness requirements related to customization. |
