| Abstract: | So for eighteen hydroelectric projects of large and medium size in China have introduced foreign investment subsequent to the hydropower station, which took the initiative in introducing foreign investment in 1984, with a total installed capacity of 20.3 million kw, and a total volume of $3.4 billion. The foreign investment introduced is mainly from the World Bank, the Asia Development Bank, the Japanese Overseas Concerted Foundation and mixed credit by foreign governments. Improvement should be made in equipment purchasing, international bidding, repayment of loans and risk of exchange rate. |
