| Abstract: | The importance of trade in electricity has grown in proportion to its volume. The world's demand for electricity is forecast to double over the next 25 years especially as economies in less developed countries will further evolve at the same time. Differences in the level of economic development represent a major challenge in terms of electricity policy. The developing countries seek economic growth through the development of an energy sector and infrastructure. |
