Abstract:The objective of the adjustment of export-oriented industries in China should be to optimize the industrial structure and focus on developing the export products with high added value, mechanical and electrical products, in particular so as to make the export-oriented industries upgraded and replaced by new generations of industries. The following policy measures should be taken: (1) Implementing the policy of combining generality with focus points and concentrating on developing "fist" export products; (2) Practicing the policy of combining guiding exports with replacing domestic products with import ones; (3) Increasing the input of sci- tech; (4)The adjustment of export-oriented industries should be supported by polices of investment, credit, interest rate and taxation.
