Abstract:Putting it all together: How productivity increased when Allen-Bradley improved its product-development process, created an efficient corporate facility, and introduced outsourcing. One of the most important first steps was to assess solid-state manufacturing capabilities in Milwaukee from all major vantage points - from design cycle to inventory policies. Once the internal assessment was completed, teams began benchmarking other companies. Allen-Bradley set out to meet the future with a vision of manufacturing that encompassed the entire organization.
