| Abstract: | This paper reviews the progress of American Standard, a large multinational corporation, in reconfiguring its operations to meet the demands for surviving in today's global marketplace. After describing the background this company shares with many other multinationals, the authors explain the revolutionary changes that are being made in the internal organization and processes adopting Demand Flow Technology. They compare some of the features of Demand Flow Technology with other systems, explain its implementation at American Standard, and discuss progress to date. |
