| Abstract: | The economic prudence of workforce diversity has been the subject of much debate. Many believe that diversity will enhance corporate productivity, and others argue that a heterogeneous workforce will be counterproductive. By far the more common position, however, is that the effect of diversity depends on the type of organization. But, exactly what types of organization will benefit from diversification is yet to be specified in any conceptual or practical way. |
