| Abstract: | In a world moving towards a global economy where traditional production processes are being revolutionized by new technology, investment and intangible assets offers the developed world its best chance of sustainable prosperity. However, investment in intangibles offers no collateral and is notoriously hard to measure. The author applies lessons learned from the "Made in America" initiative to the freshly launched "Made in Europe".
