| Abstract: | This paper examines how companies may decide to bring about effective network collaboration despite present mediation forms having proven inadequate. The lack a clear picture of the potential future "modular business" is one of the main problems of these companies. The Dutch hospitality sector faced such dilemma, commissioning a scenario study. Based on the findings, it is indicated that modern information and communication technology (ICT) may provide support for establishing hospitality networks shaping a physical and virtual environment for the delivery of services to developing client demands etc. |
