Abstract:Today, we live in an era of total competition, where the external environment is highly complex, unstable and unpredictable. Does this mean that companies should not use planning to reduce uncertainty? No, the goals of planning remain the same. But its context has changed, the materials with which it works have changed, and the metrics by which to judge its success have changed, and the metrics by which to judge its success have changed. The author identifies the changes that are necessary to meet the new challenges.
