| Abstract: | This paper aims at showing that knowledge sharing (KS) is primarily based on a trading process, the business transaction process. Based on an industry survey followed by interviews, there are found arguments supporting the business transaction theory. Results of the interviews are clustered and categorized according to Alderfer's pyramid. Moral hazards impeding KS are derived thereof. |
