| Abstract: | A report is presented including forecasts of household cashflow over the period to 1996. Trends to watch are summarized. Data are presented about household income. Sectorial prospects are analysed, growth areas are highlighted. Expenditure abroad is expected to be the outstanding growth sector. Major social and economic movements affecting expenditure structure are listed. The more depressed consumer markets are examined. A significant expansion is expected of the share of self-employment income. The role of consumer credit is discussed. |
