| Abstract: | THe special section presents a review of three papers dealing with computer personnel research (CPR), CPR is the study os information systems professionals-managers, professionals, and clerical workers, CPR issues include communication between Management Information Systems (MIS) personnel and users, motivation of MIS personnel or users, the impact of new development technologies on people, MIS personnel performance measurement, education and training, design of the MIS organization. The three papers were originally presented at the 1992 annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Computer Personnel Research of the association for Computing Machinery. |
