| Abstract: | Strategic planning offers managers the tools to cope with complex, changing environments and to shape organizational responses. However, experience and research suggests that, frequently, these potential benefits have not been achieved. Ten principles are indentified for managing the process of planning to achieve the goals sought from strategic plans. |
