| Abstract: | Far-reaching developments in the technological and business environment suggest that the world of tax software is entering a phase of rapid change. The world of tax software has tended to be less dynamic, and less competitive, than the market for general accounting software, in large measure because of the local nature of the application. The tax software world has had relatively limited horizons, albeit with fierce competition between the players. |
