| Abstract: | In 1991 the European Community imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on audio tapes in cassettes (ATCs) originating in Japan and Korea. The Japanese government challenged the legality of these anti-dumping measures and initiated GATT consultations. The consultations did not lead to resolution of the dispute, and on 13 October 1992 Japan requested the establishment of a panel. The panel finalized its conclusions in May 1995. In this article, the main findings of the Panel will be discussed. |
