| Abstract: | "Don't forget to put on your PC", could become a familiar refrain in the not too distant future. The first computers filled a large room. Then came machines that could sit on a desktop, to be shortly followed by portable laptop, notebook and palmtop PCs. NOw, a new generation of computers is emerging: the wearable PC. Wearable computers are not quite as compact as the wrist-watch devices whown in science fiction films, but they are small enough to be carried around the body, claims the author. |
