| Abstract: | If you haven't tackled the year 2000 dilemma yet, wake up, you've got a serious problem. In 1998, a COBOL programmer becomes bored to death with updating software to cope with the year 2000 problem. He decides to have himself frozen and woken when it's all over. He's been making good money so he goes to a good cryogenics specialist who puts him in a special capsule, turns on the deep-freeze and sets the timer to wake him up in June 2000. The next thing he knows he is waking up and a flock of white-coated scientists are peering excitedly into his capsule. |
