Abstract:Web server connected to the Internet has been called the printing press of the digital age. Of course, anyone who has spent time in publishing will tell you that the promoting press itself is just a small -- and yet highly visible -- part of a large, complex set of systems and workflow processes. Developers of Web-server software have taken this deeper meaning to heart. They are rapidly improving upon what was once merely a software engine to push text and graphics across the world at high speed, adding content creation and management tools that make the process of publishing information more organized and efficient.
