Abstract:The internet offers a host of novel ways to customers to share their opinions on and experiences with goods and services with other consumers, i.e., to engage in electronic word-of-mouth. Especially, consumer articulations on web-based consumer opinion platforms (e.g., ciao.com or epinions.com) represent information considered by many consumers.
