Abstract:Corporate environmental management concentrates on identifying negative effects of economic systems on ecological systems and getting rid of them. This article states that this approach does not contribute enough and gives practical examples to support the claim. A new alternative theory of corporate environmental management with two parts is envisioned. The central argument is that it is possible to use social and natural science knowledge for a new vision of strategic corporate environmental management.
