| Abstract: | The article expounds the relationship between foreign ownership and bank performance. In the analyzes a continuous foreign ownership variable is applied. It is finds the following results: i. a negative relationship is found between foreign ownership and banks' interest revenues and profitability by using a foreign ownership dummy variable. ii. independent of countries' GDP per capita and concentration in the banking sector. |
