| Abstract: | This article argues that truthfulness (hereafter as: tr-s.) has an intrinsic value in business, identifing the conceptual confusions underlying the opposite view. This article's account of tr-s. as a virtue shows that tr-s. is both valuable for its own sake and instrumental to further valuable goals. It helps pinpoint the implicit contradiction in claiming that tr-s. has an instrumental value only etc. |
