| Abstract: | The purpose of the article is to examine business ethics in accounting using a bibliometric analysis approach. A set of journals published between the years 1988 and 2007 is studied, with a focus on accounting research. By examining citation frequencies, some core articles in the field are identified. Further, a co-citation analysis is applied to analyze scholarly communication patterns. Finally, social network analysis tools are used to profile the centrality features of the co-citation network. |
