| Abstract: | The consumption of urban residents in Nanjing city presents the following characteristics: The proportion of expenses on health care, transport and telecommunications, education and recreation, and housing increases while that of expenses on food, clothing, family equipment and service, sundry goods, and other services decreases. According to the forecast in the near future, we will see the following trends: 1. The expense on housing will grow greatly. 2. With the period of updating electrical household appliances coming, a new upsurge of electrical household appliance consumption will be bound to be formed. 3. The consumption of cultural and health proudcts will continue to grow. 4. Now is our time for adjusting industrial product mix and developing rural market. |
