| Abstract: | The new characteristic and trend of the resident consumption towards the next century are: survival-type consumption is changing rapidly to the quality consumption; multi-level consumption pattern is being formed; some new popular consumption points will appear. For the urban residents the consumption will be focused on commodity housing, cars, electronic information production of rural residents will be housing, household appliance, household vehicles, motorcycles. So we must try to carry out the four consumption policies: credit consumption policy, service consumption policy, rent consumption policy and rural urbanization policy. |
