| Abstract: | This article is dealsing with and theorising the employment relations (henceforth as: e-rlts.) consequences of cost minimisation in the management of inter-organisational contracts for less-skilled work. Using case study data, it is uncovered that cost minimization creates and complicates e-rlts. problems, with the 'success' of especial tactics dependent on the relative tractability of broader economic conditions and social relationships. |
