| Abstract: | European accounting practices are characterised by significant national diversity related in part to legal systems and tradition. In this article Alan Roberts of the University of Reading examines some of those differences by comparing management accounting in the United Kingdom with that in France. These issues were also recently discussed at a Franco-British round table organised by CIMA Europe Department in London in early December. |
