| Abstract: | Tobacco is an inflammatory issue. The author shows lots of examples from American and Canadian advertising and public relations material, both old and new. Some of it is shocking and stunning, some of it is laughable, at least if one has a dark sense of humour. The author starts the article explaining how he got interested in the issue. His curiosity occurred when he first got enlisted as an expert witness. |
