Abstract: | The IBM's Process Quality Management method is described. This technique has been used successfully by service companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and manufacturers as well. PQM is compared with other planning processes. Phases of the method are described in detail. Examples are presented about how to define a team's mission. Brainstorming rules are listed. Critical success factors must be identified. A case is presented about a fictitious enterprise that sells consumer products in the U.S.: business processes and critical success factors are listed and combined. Action plans are elaborated. The role of the team facilitator is analyzed. |
