| Abstract: | This paper deals with the monetary (here as: mon-y.) transmission mechanism using disaggregated industry (here as: ind-y.) data from five industrialized countries. The goal is to document the cross-ind-y. heterogeneity of mon-y. policy effects and relate it to ind-y. characteristics suggested by mon-y. transmission theories. Sizable and significant cross-ind-y. differences in the effects of monetary policy are found. |
