Abstract:The central purpose of this article was to develop an empirically grounded general pricing model that would provide the basis for developing a non-neoclassical historical theory of prices. This involved delineating the kinds of business enterprise pricing equations that existed and the frequency of their use by enterprises. This article responses to the criticisms made about the empirically grounded pricing model developed in Lee (1994, 1995). In response to some criticisms a numerical pricing model is developed and then used to examine the real-world starting point of the model, and time and convergence.
