| Abstract: | Information technology can ensure competitive advantage and presents a strong weapon for increasing market share and profit of a company.In order to achieve a systematic information technology impact on business processes, a corresponding information technology planning process should be implemented at the strategic, tactical and operational level.The article presents the results of a field research examining the present situation in larger Slovenian companies concerning the information technology planning for increasing competitive advantage. |
