Abstract:Despite official denials, China slows signs of relaxing its three-year-old austerity drive. Easier money is likely to start flowing. After several years of slack sales and late payments from his customers, things are starting to look up for factory director Fang Limin. The reason: China's cold-shower monetary policy is showing signs of warming up. A relaxation couldn't come at a better time. Cash-trapped state-owned interprises owe Fang's Beijing Tainwei Fuel Injection Equipment millions of renminbi for fuel pumps and injector nozzles.
