| Abstract: | 1997 will for the first time turn the concept of "one country two systems" into reality and therefore will greatly promote the cause of China's national reunification. Hong Kong run by Hong Kong people and one country, two system policies conform to the historical developments and realities in Hong Kong and can best preserve China's sovereignty and national unity and are conducive to the stability and prosperity of Hong Kong and the economic prosperity of the whole of China, the Asia-Pacific region and the whole world. The Hong Kong SAP's role as a window and bridge for the hinterland to develop its contacts with the world will be even great in the economic rise of China. |
