| Abstract: | In prospect of the 21st century, China will play a more positive and stabilizing role in promoting peace and development of the world. China focuses its efforts on the socialist modernization drive and sticks to the reform and open-door policies. China's economy in these 20 years grows at an overage annual rate of about 9%. Facts have proved that economic development in China has benefited both the Chinese people as well as countries that have economic links with China. This momentum of development will continue in the 21st century. China will continue to adhere to the renovated socialist system in consistency with the Chinese conditions, with the aim of improvement of people's living, and along with the pursuit of the foreign policy of peace. |
