One group of investors is on every corporate deal-doer's hit list right now: the big buy-out funds. At a time when the collapse in share prices threatens to knock the bottom out of the M&A market by deterring many industrial buyers from doing any big deal involving stock, the private equity specialists are increasingly finding they have the field to themselves. |
