| Abstract: | Customer satisfaction in consumer goods and industrial markets has attracted a lot of attention. However, hospital patient satisfaction in Germany remains so far an under-researched area. This study describes the development of valid multiple-item measures to capture the construct of patient satisfaction (called PATSATK and PATSATR) in 2 types of providers of service, i.e. primary care hospitals (Krankenhäuser) and secondary care hospitals (Rehabilitationseinrichtungen). Both scales used are found to meet nowadays available standards for validity and reliability. This makes them viable measurement tools for practice (original in German). |
