| Abstract: | This paper discusses the importance of confidentiality agreements when it comes to mergers and acquisitions. Based on case-study approach, the authors investigate aspects of confidentiality in a four-year post-acquisition integration programme in a FTSE100 pharmaceutical company. A range of personal impacts on the signatories are identified, as well as various dimensions of information transfer despite the agreement being in place. |
