Abstract:As a behavior in market, acquisitions of State-owned enterprises (SOEs) by foreign capital will have positive effects on the operation of a market economy. The most direct benefit is that China can absorb investments, which will have the "effect of resource inflow" and promote adjustments of industrial structure and innovations in SOEs. At the same time, they also create such problems as drain on State-owned assets, monopoly of business lines, hindering the development of national industry. In the wave of acquisition, SOEs as the targets for acquisitions should take precautions against hostile acquisitions. On the other hand, we should make best use of the situation, take active actions to go abroad, buy foreign enterprises and create our own transnational business.
