| Abstract: | The objectives of this study were followings: to evaluate attitudes of residents toward the development of tourism and toward the development of cultural tourism in the Lewes District and to compare previous with socio-demographic characteristics of residents. The results showed that levels of income and proximity to the tourist centre were the major factors which have an affect to residents' opinions. |
