| Abstract: | Fiduciary duty and liability are identified for financial advisors in socially responsible investing. The paper investigates the role of a fiduciary that emerges from both ethical and legal bases. Specific characteristics of maintaining fiduciary duty and minimizing fiduciary liability are discussed as they are related to socially responsible investing(SRI). |
