| Abstract: | A deciphering of the last 59 pages of the Summa manuscript, dating from the 15th-16th centuries and its description and analysis. 4 classifications of the MS. Double entry bookkeeping. Mathematical problems. Mensuration problems. Four rules of arithmetic, including fractions and calculations. Astrological calculations, diagrams and Tables. Latin prologue and aphorisms. The author ascribes most of the MS to Filippo Calandri, the author of the first 15th century printed textbook on arithmetic. |
