| Abstract: | The general price level in May continued to present a downward trend. Compared with the same period of last year, the country's resident consumer prices and retail prices were down 1% and 2.7% respectively, an increase of 0.7 and 0.6 percentage point respectively over last mouth in terms of decrease margin. Compared with last month, the general levels of the country's resident consumer prices and retail prices were down 1.4% and 1.5% respectively. According to the accumulated statistics from Jan. to May these two kinds of prices were down 0.1% and 1.9% respectively over the same period of last year. |
