| Abstract: | Compared with last year, economic growth will speed up some what in 1998 and demand increase some what too. The industrial consumer goods will still present the pattern of buyer's market and their prices remain stable. The supply and demand state of means of production for industry will be not as good as the state in 1997 and the prices of means of production rise after a fall slightly. Both means of production for agriculture market and their prices will remain stable. There will be a price adjustment in some city public utilities. It is estimated that the resident consumer prices for the whole year will rise by 4 to 5% or so and retail prices by 2 to 3%. |
