Abstract: | Successful leaders know that motivation techniques such as incentive programs only satisfy employees if they are long enough to achieve short-term goals. If one inculcates employees with a belief in the organization's mission, a belief in the importance of what they are contributing to by being a part of the organization, commitment will be brought about. This is exactly what the new breed of employee wants. The company which provides employees with the responsibility and the information and the authority to get the job done will be competitive in the future. |
