| Abstract: | A review of U.K. consumption of dark rum, its former decline and recovery, an unpromoted down market drink, the promotion possibilities for market development, the golden rum sector, and the potential of premium aged and high strength sectors. Fourteen Tables are given. The analysis opines that an upgrading may alienate regular older drinkers. |
